Violence at Work and Depressive Symptoms in Primary Health Care Teams: a cross-sectional study in Brazil

This article describes the PANDORA-SP study which was a cross-sectional study to investigate the association between violence at work and depression symptoms/major depression in primary care teams. For this article, Andréa Tenório and colleagues used the nine-item Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) and exposure to violence questionnaire on the participants and discovered that this is major problem concerning primary care in Brazil and that policy makers should prioritize strategies to prevent these problems.
