Fifth Latin-MH Study Group Meeting

Join us for the fifth meeting of Latin-MH Study Group!

The meeting will be on August 16th at 10 a.m. Peru time/12 a.m. Brazil time, and it will be held in Spanish. The theme to be discussed is: Mental Health Reform in Peru: Implementation experience from the Instituto Nacional de Salud Mental "Honorio Delgado - Hideyo Noguchi". 


Our guest speaker is Dr. Humberto Castillo. Dr. Castillo, MD, is a psychiatrist and Director of INSM (Peruvian National Institute of Mental Health). He has worked with the MoH in projects related to prioritized health conditions such as mental health and tuberculosis. As the Director of the INSM, he has been tasked with the implementation of the mental health reform, which is currently underway within the Peruvian public health system. It's going to be held at August 22nd, 10am EST, our 10th Latin-MH Study Group with the theme "Digital Technology for Preventing Early Mortality Among People Living with Serious Mental Illnesses". Seventh Study Group Reunion Latin-MH

Our 7th Study Group consisted in the debate "Primary-Care Professionals Mental Health: work-related factors" with Dr. Andréa Tenório, and it was held on February 31st. In this meeting we discussed the findings of The PANDORA-SP Study. This webinar was broadcasted online via Adobe Connect and it happened in two sessions: one in portuguese and one in english.
