Lena Brandt, BA, MA

Psychologist and project coordinator at CRONICAS Center of Excellence in Chronic Diseases at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH) in Lima, Peru.
Lena Brandt has experience in coordinating projects in mental health focusing on low-income populations and in psychotherapy. She has studied psychology with the mayor in clinical psychology, psychology of law and neuropsychology at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, Netherlands, and at the University of Bremen, Germany, where she also received her Master’s Degree in clinical psychology.
Lena Brandt is currently the Trial Manager of the Peruvian site of the LATIN MH clinical trial at CRONICAS Center of Excellence in Chronic Diseases at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH).
As Trial Manager for the Peruvian LATIN MH site, she has been involved in all pilot study related activities and is currently coordinating the LATIN MH CONEMO Workgroup, responsible for the design and adaptation of the technological components of the intervention. She is also involved in activities related to the clinical foundation of the intervention and in the RCT-protocol related activities. During the RCT she will be responsible for coordinating the Peruvian LATIN MH team, for safety assurance, protocol adherence, quality control and the communication with the health centers’ management.
